BSc Programmes – Computer Sciences and Information Technologies

Training of the students with focus on the current trends in Information Technology at OSENU is provided by three special departments of the Faculty of Computer Science: Department of Information Technology, Department of Information Science and Department of Automated Systems for Environmental Monitoring.

Bachelor and Master students in the specialty of ‘Computer Science and Information Technology’ have the opportunity to undergo professional training under three specializations (programmes):

Geographic Information Systems and Technologies;
Internet Programming;
Computer-Aided Environmental and Economical Monitoring
Many graduates of educational institutions with the qualification of Junior Specialist have an opportunity to take a course of training under the programme in Intelligent Information Systems at the first cycle of higher education, Bachelor of Science.

Development of the components of computer- controlled systems, including the ones of information processing and management, computer-aided design, software for personal computers, automated text and graphic processing, geographic information technologies, being the principal constituents of professional activity of the experts who graduated from the Faculty.

High quality professional training is assured by up-to-date equipment, well-qualified research and teaching staff as well as international relations that make it possible to integrate academic programmes of the leading international IT-companies, new integrated technologies, technical, information and communication learning tools into the educational process.
