Training of students

Today the Department of Information Technologies is one of the 13 graduating departments of the University which provides training in the following specialities: (6.050101 – bachelor’s level), (7.05010101 – specialist’s level) and 8.05010101 – Master’s level) “Information and Management Systems and Technologies” (training programme 050101 “Computer Science”).

Experts in the field of computer technologies are able to develop advanced components of computer systems including data processing systems and management systems; design computer systems; PC software; systems of automated processing of text and graphics, and are able to work in the area of applied mathematics, system analysis and management.

As information management systems and technologies professionals they develop geographic information systems (GIS technology), prepare feasibility studies and technical specifications and also introduce design terms of reference in the following spheres: computer systems; algorithmization; organization and creation of databases; computer networks; production, testing, debugging and implementation of software, Internet programming.
